Job summary

Main Line Health's Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, PA is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Technician for 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am). The role includes helping with daily living activities, taking vital signs, Accu-Cheks, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other nursing assistant duties.

Full orientation with a mandatory 3-week training, BLS provider preferred on hire or before unit orientation. Prior patient services experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
• Previous patient care or nursing assistant experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and comfort measures.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with basic nursing tasks.
• Perform Accu-Cheks and phlebotomy under supervision.
• Support nurses and participate in patient care activities as assigned.
