Amoskeag Health in Manchester, NH is seeking a Per Diem Patient Accounts Representative to support the revenue cycle at our community health center. You will handle billing inquiries, resolve insurance denials, and ensure accurate claim submissions and timely collections.

This role is per diem with hours determined by department needs; on-site during probation and then a hybrid/remote option may be available. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of medical or healthcare billing experience with claim rejections.
• Basic computer skills to bill claims, document, and edit patient accounts.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility and a positive attitude.

Mansioni

• Review all claims daily and submit electronically in a timely manner.
• Review claim edits and rejections and correct as required to payer rules.
• Work on on-hold claims to maintain timely billing practices.
• Coordinate data requests with Medical Records, Intake, and other departments.
• Monitor outstanding claims and ensure follow-up within payer filing limits.
• Initiate re-billings, corrected claims, and appeals per payer requirements.
• Document billing activities on patient accounts to aid issue resolution.
• Identify compliance risks and address issues to prevent audits.
• Track trends in claim denials and report to management.
• Reconcile daily charges, adjustments, payments, and overpayments with third-party payers.
