Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, ID, is seeking a compassionate RN for a per-diem PRN role in the Pre-Op/PACU unit. You will work both pre-op and recovery with a typical 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and responsibilities including admissions/discharges, patient care, and medication ordering.

This PRN position requires PACU/CCU/ER experience preferred, Idaho RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• PACU/Pre-Op and recovery nursing in a fast-paced unit.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS/PALS to be obtained within six months of employment.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills; patient care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide professional nursing care in PACU/Pre-Op Unit.
• Delegate nursing assignments, prepare schedules, oversee admissions and discharges, monitor and order medicines and supplies.
