Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking a Per Diem PACU Registered Nurse for the Burlington, MA area. The role covers the Main PACU with floating coverage to Ambulatory PACU; shift times start between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with 24 hours per 4-week cycle.

The nurse will join a world-class Boston-area health system, supporting diverse patient populations across several surgical specialties. A nursing license, BLS, and preferred ACLS are required or preferred as noted.

Formación

• Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute settings.
• 3+ years of Critical Care and Telemetry experience preferred.
• Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions; PC skills.
• Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Pre-Admissions Testing Department with patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary services to ensure rapid patient turnover and multidisciplinary care.
• Provide nursing care for general surgery, transplant, orthopedic, neurology, cardiac, oncology and urology patients as part of the PACU team.
