Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care following nursing process and organizational policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans with the care team.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols and safe patient environments.
• Operates and monitors medical equipment as needed (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators).
• Maintains attendance and complies with policies and standards.
