Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis- Therapy and Rehab seeks a per diem Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and individualized treatment for adult and geriatric patients under supervision.

This role supports day and evening shifts with emphasis on compassionate care and adherence to Mercy standards. The position requires a PT degree (BA/BSc, MS, or DPT), current MO license, BLS certification, and 6+ months of rehab experience; strong teamwork and patient advocacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Master of Science in Physical Therapy, or Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification required; current licensure in state of practice.
• Six months to one year of rehabilitation experience preferred for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts and Mercy policies.
• Uphold Mercy Service Standards in all patient care activities.
