Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis - Therapy and Rehab is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist for per diem daytime and evening shifts. Requires licensure in the state, BLS, and a degree in Physical Therapy with 6 months to 1 year of preferred experience in adult and geriatric care.

Responsibilities include objective assessments, individualized treatment plans, and supervision of rehabilitation staff, in a mission-driven environment with strong benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates objective assessment and development of individualized treatment plans.
• Experience supervising patients and rehabilitation technicians.
• Works effectively with adult and geriatric patients in a therapy rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehab technicians; supervise PT assistants where applicable.
• Adhere to Mercy policies, standards, and state practice acts; collaborate with Therapy Leadership.
