Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis- Therapy and Rehab is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist for per diem shifts, including days and evenings. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and supervise rehab technicians.

The role requires a Bachelor's, MS in PT or DPT, a current license, BLS, and 6–12 months of experience with adult and geriatric patients. You’ll work under Therapy Leadership and uphold Mercy standards to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensed (current/temporary) Physical Therapist in state of practice.
• BLS certification current.
• 6 months to 1 year of preferred experience with adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values and service standards.
