Job summary

St, Mary's Home Health Service, part of the Optum family, is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home occupational therapy and restore patients to their fullest physical ability. Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home health occupational therapy and the plan of care defined by the supervising OT.
• Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the OTA and state laws.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instruct patients, family, caregiver, and health team members in therapy within OTA scope.
• Function in diverse home environments respecting patient rights and dignity.
