Job summary

The Pines at Placerville in Placerville, CA is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team. This role offers a flexible per diem schedule and competitive pay of $55–$65/hour DOE.

You’ll evaluate residents, develop treatment plans to improve mobility, ADLs, and independence; collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families; supervise COTAs and students; participate in care conferences; educate on safety and fall prevention; and maintain compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• New grads encouraged to apply; CPR cert if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, ADLs and independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise COTAs, aides, and students.
• Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Educate residents and caregivers on safety and fall prevention; provide home programs.
• Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment; maintain documentation.
• Provide staff education and in-services; support quality improvement efforts.
