Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center in Placerville, CA seeks a per diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team. You will provide direct resident treatment under OT supervision, aid daily living activities, and support fall prevention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Current California COTA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatment under supervision of the OT.
• Help residents improve independence with ADLs and mobility.
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation.
• Assist with restorative nursing programs and staff education.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Educate residents and caregivers on safety, home programs, and fall prevention.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices to support independence.
• Maintain a safe and positive treatment environment.
• Support quality improvement and rehabilitation initiatives.
