Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Placerville, CA. This role offers flexible per diem scheduling and the opportunity to provide patient-centered care across interdisciplinary teams.

• Licensed OT in California is required or eligible.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• CPR certification may be required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, ADLs, and independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise COTAs, aides, and students.
• Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings.
• Educate residents and caregivers on safety, fall prevention, adaptive equipment, and home programs.
• Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation.
• Provide staff education and in-services.
• Support quality improvement and restorative nursing programs.

What You'll Do
