Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in the appropriate state.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required by ASC policy.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Transport patients to and from the operating/procedure room.
• Prepare patients for surgery and position them on the table.
• Verify name, strength, and dosage of medications.
• Maintain sterile technique and orderly OR environment.
• Document nursing care accurately for continuity of care.
• Communicate with surgical team to ensure timely care.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies for cases.
