Job summary

Precision Care Surgery Center is seeking an experienced per diem Operating Room Nurse for immediate hire. This state-of-the-art facility performs orthopedic, spine, total joint, and podiatry procedures across four ORs.

The ideal candidate will provide nursing care in operative areas, meet patient needs per physician instructions, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. NY state RN license and ACLS certification are required; ASC/orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NY State RN license is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• ASC experience preferred.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the assigned operative areas of the surgery center.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and facility procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Set priorities in planning cases and provide peri-operative patient care.
