Upper Bay Surgery Center is seeking a per diem Operating Room Nurse to support patient care during operative and invasive procedures. The role serves adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients aged 8 and older across Ortho, Spine, Podiatry, General, Pain Management and Surgical Dermatology.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, minimum two years OR experience, and a Maryland RN license with CPR/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum two years OR experience.
• Current Maryland license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current in CPR, ACLS and PALS.
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.

Responsibilities

• The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure.
• The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients 8 years and older.
• Our scope of service includes Ortho, Spine, Podiatry, General, Pain Management and Surgical Dermatology.
