Job summary

DISC Surgery Center in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a per diem Operating Room RN to join our spine, orthopedics and pain management team. You will scrub and circulate, monitor anesthesia support, and collaborate with surgeons to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

Requirements include an active Florida RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of OR experience in acute care or a surgery center.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required for eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification, or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in acute care or a surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and identify risks.
• Scrub and circulate intraoperatively, maintaining a sterile field.
• Administer medications and support anesthesia as needed.
• Document all perioperative data and patient responses.
• Support postoperative care and early recovery monitoring.
• Collaborate with surgeons and team to ensure efficient procedures.
