Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance's CHA Everett Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for per diem shifts. The role supports perioperative services across Orthopedics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Plastics, and more, with opportunities to work as both scrub and circulator.

The successful candidate will hold a Massachusetts RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS certification; CNOR preferred. Minimum 2 years of OR experience and on-call duties for nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Massachusetts RN License in good standing.
• BSN degree preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Successful completion of Periop101 during CHA orientation; CNOR preferred.
• Minimum 2 years current Operating Room (OR) nursing experience including circulating and scrub roles.
• On call obligations required for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in the perioperative setting according to CHA and professional standards.
• Perform scrub and circulator duties in the operating room.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care.
• Adhere to nursing policies and procedures and departmental goals.
