Job summary

The RN - Operating Room per diem position at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is based in Northampton, MA. The RN performs circulating duties, delivering perioperative care and acting as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process in the OR.
• Serve as Circulating Nurse and advocate for the patient.
• Coordinate and direct nursing care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Follow unit policies and ensure safe, effective perioperative care.
