Job summary

Emerson Health in Concord, MA is seeking an OR Nurse for a temporary position. You will circulate, scrub, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists in state-of-the-art surgical suites, ensuring safety and compassionate intraoperative care.

Graduate of accredited nursing program; MA RN license and BLS required; CNOR a plus. Perioperative experience is preferred, with Periop 101 available for new OR nurses. Day shift, 6:30am-7:00pm; compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification
• Perioperative nursing experience preferred; Periop 101 offered for new OR nurses

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care during surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate for procedures and assist with instruments and technology
• Advocate for patient safety from prep to recovery and document care
• Mentor new perioperative team members and serve as a resource when needed
• Maintain a calm, safe environment by following safety protocols and teamwork
