Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse (RN) to circulate GI, Ophthalmology and GYN procedures in the Irvine, CA area. The role involves circulating in the OR and joining a multidisciplinary perioperative team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Ideal candidates will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license in good standing, and have BLS certification with ACLS/PALS as required by pediatric scope.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year OR/medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment; ACLS within 90 days; PALS if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
