Job summary

SCA Health in Irvine, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room for a per diem circulating role. You will circulate GI, Ophthalmology and GYN procedures, supporting a multidisciplinary perioperative team.

We value clinical excellence and teamwork. Candidates must have OR experience, be licensed in good standing, and obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS within the specified timelines. Per diem schedule and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS within 90 days if applicable.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days; PALS if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.

Responsibilities

We are actively hiring for an Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room. This position is for a per diem circulating RN, with experience, to circulate GI procedures, Ophthalmology procedures and GYN procedures.

• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.

• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
