Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a per diem basis for the Dunmore, PA location. The role supports occupational therapy services, providing patient-centered care to restore function and independence.

The assistant will work under supervision with a focus on evidence-based techniques, quality outcomes, and compliant documentation, while preserving patient dignity and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• 1 year of clinical experience is required for Home Care.
• Knowledge of patient rights and HIPAA regulations.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and safety standards.
• Must have current American Heart Association BLS.
• State-specific COTA certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and implements established OT plans of care.
• Performs OT treatment using evidence-based techniques.
• Communicates progress to supervisor and team.
• Adapts plans based on age and population needs.
• Maintains documentation per policy and regulatory requirements.
