Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support OT programs, help patients regain independence, and improve quality of life through therapeutic exercises and education.

Under supervision of the OTR, you will implement care plans, communicate progress to the team and family, and ensure documentation meets policies and standards. This on-site role at the Trexlertown Health Center offers a day shift in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy completed.
• Knowledge of patient rights and HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and colleagues.
• Familiarity with occupational therapy techniques and safety standards.
• Safe, compassionate and competent OT treatments.
• AHA Basic Life Support awareness upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Reviews and implements established OT plans of care to restore function and independence.
• Applies therapy techniques including exercises, manual methods and activities of daily living training.
• Delivers OT treatments aligned with patient needs and assessment.
• Communicates progress and limitations to supervisor and care team.
• Implements age/population appropriate care with family involvement.
• Ensures cost-effective care within billing guidelines.
• Completes required documentation per policies and standards.
