Imperial Healthcare NJ is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for per diem coverage to help residents regain independence and daily living skills in a supportive healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing personalized plans, providing therapies, and educating residents and families, with collaboration across physicians, nursing, and therapy teams to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Healthcare experience is a plus; strong communication and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional and daily living skills
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
• Monitor, document, and communicate resident progress
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy teams
• Educate residents and families on therapy techniques and safety
