Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and plan OT programs to restore function and independence for patients in the Hazleton area.

You will implement treatment plans using evidence-based techniques, document patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. Per diem travel may be required across locations; adherence to licensure and BLS is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and PA licensure required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Ability to travel to patient care assignments (Home Care only).
• Must communicate with patients, family, and co-workers in a friendly, supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, and administers OT programs to restore function and independence.
• Implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Communicates patient progress to supervisors and team members.
• Provides supervision as appropriate and ensures cost-effective care.
• Completes documentation per policies and regulatory requirements.
