Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across multiple locations in Pennsylvania. You will assess condition, develop and implement care plans, and guide functional restoration through evidence-based techniques to help patients regain independence.

Responsibilities include creating measurable goals, documenting progress, collaborating with physicians and staff, and ensuring safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• PA licensure as a Physical Therapist upon hire.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations per diem.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements appropriate physical therapy plans of care to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach their maximum performance level.
• Implements an individualized treatment plan through the use of skilled, evidence-based therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, functional mobility training, activities of daily living training, and modalities.
• Provides physical therapy treatment consistent with the patients' needs assessment.
• Performs reassessment when indicated and modifies physical therapy plans accordingly.
• Communicates patient progress and physical limitations to supervisor, physician(s), and other team members.
• Establishes a physical therapy treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames.
• Provides cost effective care in accordance with departmental billing guidelines.
• Completes and submits all documentation based on policies/standards and regulatory requirements.
