Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients participate in meaningful activities and occupations affected by physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.

You will conduct assessments, develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to deliver comprehensive care onsite.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• MA OT license required.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
• Attend staff meetings and continuing education for professional development.
