Job summary

Spaulding Hospital-Cambridge, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support patients across age groups with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges in residential/assisted living or skilled nursing settings.

You will assess abilities, develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists. Per Diem role; onsite at 1575 Cambridge Street.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Occupational Therapist State License required.
• 1-2 years experience in residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and developmental abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
• Attend staff meetings and continuing education to stay current with best practices.
