Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT seeks an Occupational Therapist for our Inpatient Physical Medicine Department. This per diem, day-shift role focuses on evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation to maximize patients' functional potential.

Required BS or MS in Occupational Therapy, CT licensure, CPR within 3 months of hire, and prefer 1 year of clinical OT experience. Per diem benefits include growth opportunities and weekly pay, with shift differentials for eligible times.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a CT OT license and degree from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification within 3 months of hire is required.
• One year of clinical OT experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review physician referrals and patient records to determine OT treatment.
• Test and measure strength, motor skills, and functional status for therapy planning.
• Develop and revise written treatment plans with goals and timeframes.
• Document treatment progress and discharge information in charts or EHR.
• Administer OT programs including exercise, manual techniques, gait training, and equipment use.
• Instruct and motivate patients in activities of daily living and mobility.
