Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• CT licensure required to practice.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients as prescribed by referring physician.
• Records treatment, progress, and discharge information in patient charts or EHR.
• Educates patient, family, and significant others regarding condition, treatment and home program.
• Routinely communicates with physicians and practitioners regarding progress or changes in plan.
• Orients and directs assistants, aides, and students.
• Participates in department meetings, in-services, and educational conferences.
