UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, daily living activities, fine motor skills, and home-based OT requirements as defined by medical conditions.

The role involves evaluating functional status, consulting with physicians on care plans, and educating patients, families, and caregivers to participate in therapy. Residency allows for flexible, patient-centered care within diverse home environments.

Competenze

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Mansioni

• Evaluates the patient's functional status and OT needs; consults with physician on plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Conducts patient assessments evaluating functional level using standard tests.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and health care team in therapy techniques.
• Provide care irrespective of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
