Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home occupational therapy, helping patients restore function and independence under the supervision of an OT.

You will assess, treat, educate patients and families, document progress, and coordinate with nurses and physicians. This role offers per diem scheduling and the chance to contribute to high-quality home health care.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy in home care under supervising OT.
• Follow plan of care and implement evidence-based treatments.
• Observe, record, and report patient progress to nurse supervisor and physician
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within OTA scope
• Function in any home setting regardless of patient demographics
