Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking an experienced Per Diem OB/GYN Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide coverage on an as-needed basis in Bridgeport, CT. The role supports a collaborative OB/GYN care team and delivers patient-centered care across inpatient, ambulatory, and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include history taking, exams, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, prescriptions, and ongoing patient management within scope.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active PA or NP license and applicable state certifications.
• 3+ years of NP/PA clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, triage, and management of obstetric/gynecology patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team across inpatient, ambulatory, or outpatient settings.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans within scope of practice.
