Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join our growing Per Diem team across Connecticut and New York. You will evaluate and treat patients of all ages, develop evidence-based plans, and perform urgent care procedures in a supportive, high-quality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience performing common urgent care procedures such as laceration repair and wound care
• Current state medical license and DEA registration
• Current ACLS and PALS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with national certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in urgent care settings
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans for acute conditions
• Perform common urgent care procedures (laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, wound care)
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and imaging as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology teams, and clinical support staff
• Deliver a patient-centered experience focused on safety and quality
