Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an Adjunct Nursing Instructor for per diem, day shift assignments. The role focuses on teaching and supervising nursing students in classroom and clinical settings, translating theory into practice, and contributing to professional development.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing, a Master’s in Nursing (or active enrollment) with ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accreditation, and at least 3 years of teaching experience in clinical or academic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and Master’s Degree in Nursing (or actively enrolled) in ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accredited program.
• 3 years teaching in a classroom or clinical setting.
• RN at state PA licensure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of FERPA and student confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and supervises nursing students in the classroom and/or clinical settings.
• Creates an environment that fosters learning and achievement of knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
• Assists students to develop as nurses and model professional values.
• Applies clinical expertise and implements evaluation strategies aligned to course outcomes.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication and collaboration with colleagues.
