Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant I certification with NC DHHS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prefer six months of nursing assistant experience
• Fluent in verbal and written English; able to develop basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procure equipment and supplies during emergencies.
• Provide basic patient care and observation; support patient/family education and safety.
• Record patient information and report significant changes to the nurse or physician.
• Assist with admission, orientation, and discharge processes.
