Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a per diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals. The role requires clear patient communication, strict safety practices, and accurate RIS documentation.

This PRN position supports a dynamic radiology team in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging. The candidate must hold NMTCB certification, be AMA radiography-educated, and maintain CPR and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
• NMTCB certification in good standing.
• AMA approved school of radiography graduate.
• CPR certification required.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state.
• Imaging specialty certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients before exams and verify identity per procedure.
• Explain procedures and position patients for Nuclear Medicine imaging.
• Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per NRC regulations.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure safety compliance.
• Train new team members as needed.
