Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to perform general NM and PET CT exams, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. You will handle radiopharmaceuticals, monitor decay, and uphold radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining detailed records, coordinating patient flow, and informing patients about procedures while collaborating with staff and physicians. Licensure and ICARE adherence are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Current CNMT or ARRT (N) registry is required.
• BLS certification required.
• PET CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nuclear medicine and PET CT exams with high image quality and patient care.
• Receive, calibrate, log, administer and monitor decay of radioactive isotopes.
• Maintain accurate reports and records and ensure radiation safety practices.
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exams are complete.
• Explain procedures to patients and communicate with staff, physicians and families.
• Maintain licenses, certifications and accreditations.
• Prepare patients and assist with examinations or treatments.
• Handle radioactive materials according to guidelines.
• Apply ICARE values in daily work.
