Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to perform general nuclear medicine and PET CT exams, maintaining high image quality and patient care. You will handle radioactive materials, ensure safety, and document exams while coordinating patient flow and communicating with the care team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, CNMT or ARRT (N) registry, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Current registry by CNMT or ARRT (N) is required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nuclear medicine and PET CT exams with focus on patient care and image quality.
• Receive, calibrate, log, administer and monitor decay of radioactive isotopes.
• Provide radiation safety support and maintain accurate reports and records.
• Coordinate patient flow and verify complete exam lists daily.
• Inform patients about procedures and communicate with staff, physicians, and families.
• Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations as required.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures; educate on discharge instructions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of handling radioactive materials and patient age-appropriate care.
