Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN seeks a Nuclear Medicine Tech to perform general nuclear medicine and PET/CT exams on a PRN basis, delivering high-quality patient care and precise imaging.

You will calibrate and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensure radiation safety, maintain records, and collaborate with physicians and staff. Eligibility includes CNMT or ARRT(N) registry and BLS; PET/CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Current registry by CNMT or ARRT (N) is required.
• BLS required.
• PET CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care.
• Receive, calibrate, log, administer and monitor the decay of radioactive isotopes.
• Provide radiation safety support and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Record patients' medical information and coordinate patient flow to ensure exams are complete.
• Inform patients about procedures and communicate professionally with coworkers, physicians, patients, and family members.
• Maintain licenses, certifications, and accreditations required as outlined in Job Qualifications.
