Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem coverage in our Nuclear Medicine department. The role involves performing complex imaging and non-imaging tests on patients from neonatal to geriatric, with professional judgment and collaboration with physicians and staff.

The role requires ARRT (N) and/or ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification, or completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology program. AHA certification prior to orientation is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine, Positron Imaging, and radiation safety.
• Ability to evaluate results and determine need for additional studies.
• Experience providing Nuclear Medicine services across all ages from neonatal to geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of imaging and non-imaging tests on patients of all ages.
• Interacts with patients, physicians and allied health care professionals; works independently with supervision available.
