Job summary

Orlando Health in Florida is opening a freestanding Emergency Department in Eustis this fall. We are hiring now to support training and onboarding before opening.

The role provides diagnostic sonography imaging and related procedures, working closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for interpretation and intervention, with emphasis on patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• ARDMS eligibility guidelines required.
• RDMS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Radiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.
• Maintains professional judgment and delivers quality patient care.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensures accurate documentation and proper patient identification.
• Adheres to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Supervises student sonographers as needed.
