Job summary

Orlando Health is opening a new freestanding Emergency Department in Eustis this fall and seeks skilled radiologic technologists to support diagnostic imaging and related procedures. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, radiation safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The position requires CT imaging proficiency, nuclear medicine knowledge, and current Florida licensure, with night shifts and weekend coverage as noted. Training and onboarding will occur before opening.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• ARRT certification (R) or (CT) and/or NMTCB in CT or CNMT with ARRT CT.

Responsibilities

• Exercises professional judgment to provide quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs patient positioning, image acquisition, and documentation.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and guidelines.
• Assists in supervising student technologists and training new staff.
