Job summary

Orlando Health in Florida is opening a new freestanding Emergency Department in Eustis this fall, and we’re hiring now to support training before opening. We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on safety, quality, and patient care, including contrast administration and radiology workflow.

This is a full-time, on-site role with Thursday night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am. Qualified candidates will hold an accredited Radiologic Technology credential and Florida

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; or Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Mandatory minimum of two years CT experience.
• Proficiency in advanced imaging including 3D Lab/IR or cardiac imaging.
• State of Florida Radiologic Technologist license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging following protocol and safety standards.
• Ensure correct patient identification, history documentation and labeling.
• Operate imaging equipment with attention to radiation safety and quality control.
• Assist in training new technologists and supervise students.
• Maintain accurate documentation and use radiology information systems.
