Job summary

Orlando Health Freestanding Emergency Room at Crossroads in St. Petersburg seeks a Sonographer II to perform diagnostic imaging and support radiology exams.

You will work with Radiologists to deliver high-quality images, ensure patient safety, and participate in supervising students as needed.

Requirements include ARDMS eligibility, 1 year of sonography experience, current BLS, and RDMS registries; nights shift, Wed-Fri, 6:30pm-7:00am.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography and ARDMS eligibility required.
• 1 year of experience in sonography with knowledge of Doppler, 3D/4D, pediatric ultrasound.
• ARDMS registered as RDMS; BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate current; RDMS physics registry.
• Maintains ARDMS registries pertinent to department.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonographic exams in collaboration with Radiologist.
• Maintain high quality images with proper annotation and patient identification.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements; assist in supervising students.
