Job summary

Orlando Health in Orlando, FL, opens a freestanding Emergency Department in Eustis this fall and seeks a CT Technologist to join the team. The role supports imaging care, patient safety, and training as the department ramps up before opening.

The position requires CT experience, Florida radiologic licensure, and BLS certification, with duties spanning dual imaging roles, contrast administration, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program or approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years CT experience and cross-capable in advanced imaging (3D Lab/IR or Cardiac imaging).
• Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARRT or NMTCB certifications as applicable (R and CT or NMTCB CT/CNMT).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging with high image quality while ensuring patient safety.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proficiency with Corporate Radiology computer systems and documentation.
• Assist in onboarding and training of student technologists and new hires.
• Position patients and equipment to optimize imaging and accuracy.
