Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Part Time Per Diem RN for night shifts with every other weekend scheduling and holiday rotation requirements. The role includes patient care, coordination with physicians, and participation in safety and quality initiatives within the unit.

The position requires an RN license in the practicing state, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and typically 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Typically requires 3 years of experience in clinical nursing with demonstrated clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

Participates, observes and/or acts as a resource to staff for patient related clinical problems.
Collaborates with MDs to ensure optimal patient care and effective utilization of resources; supports staff to problem solve patient service issues and unit issues.
Initiates investigation of patient incidents and medication errors with proper documentation and corrective action plan.
Interacts with staff regarding patient related systems problems; liaises with staff to ensure processes for optimal patient care; collaborates with managers and medical staff.
