Job summary

Advocate Health's 36-bed Med/Surg/Telemetry unit is seeking a licensed RN for a part-time night shift (7 p.m.–7 a.m.), 24 hours per week. You will perform nursing assessments, care planning, and patient monitoring while collaborating with the care team.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, safety focus, and proficient documentation in EHR systems. A BSN is preferred and an active RN license is required. Benefits include health, PTO, retirement plans, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Engage in quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Promote safety culture.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
