Banner Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Mesa. This PRN registry/per diem position offers night shifts, diverse pediatric cases, and the chance to gain pediatric certifications and oncology/hematology certification.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, document accurately, and maintain clinical performance.

Qualifications

• RN PICU experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree and pediatric certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care in collaboration with the health team.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Document accurately in the patient record and communicate status to the team.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in orientation and mentoring.
