Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Float Pool RN to support pediatric units, including NICU, within Banner Health’s Clinical Care Operations. The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure high-quality patient care.

As part of the Pediatric Resource Team, you will adapt to unit needs, expand RN skills, and participate in quarterly goal planning with management.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in clinical nursing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities.
• Documentation of assessment, plan and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.
• Provide care in alignment with professional nursing standards.
